Idle Time To Post Signage at Spitting Caves Equals More Lives Taken Away

Spitting Caves is very aesthetically pleasing. It is also a place where many lives have been taken away by the risk-taking of locals and visitors. It is imperative that “No Jumping” signs be posted in front of Spitting Caves. Rep. Ward has been a strong advocate in the news, community, and in the Legislature about urging the City and County of Honolulu to put up a “No Jumping” sign.

“Solar on every roof, batteries under every house”

The mantra of Rep. Ward’s office is: Solar on every roof, batteries under every house. HB212 offers a tax credit for battery backup systems. Rep. Ward highly supports and is proud of this bill. In relation to installing battery back up systems, Rep. has proposed a resolution, HR139 requesting HECO to provide a reduced fixed electricity rate to all public schools because of the extreme heat felt due to lack of air conditioning.
