Representative Feki Pouha delivers the Hawaiian “Word of the Day” on Feb. 04, 2016. E ola mau ka ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi! (May the Hawaiian language live forever!)

“Mau” is defined as steady, constant, perpetual, to continue, preserve, and endure. The Hawaii State Government is making a concerted effort to preserve and perpetuate the Hawaiian Language through various means, including the printing of various official government documents in the Hawaiian Language.
