Description:  Assigns to the Hawaii Tourism Authority the responsibilities for film development and marketing. Transfers the Film Industry Branch within the Creative Industries Division of the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism to the Hawaii Tourism Authority and makes conforming amendments. Appropriates funds from the Film Development and Marketing Special Fund to the Hawaii Tourism Authority for implementation of the film development and marketing activities. (SB1155 HD1)

Description:  Requires the public utilities commission to regulate transportation network companies and transportation network company drivers. Requires drivers to register as business entities with the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs. Establishes insurance requirements and qualifications for persons who operate or serve as drivers for transportation network companies. Appropriates funds to the PUC. (SB1280 HD1)
