Grant Okamoto, a reservist District Chief for the Department of Emergency Management (DEM) http://www1.honolulu.gov/dem/cert.htm, who also works at the House of Representatives for the Sgt-at-Arms, helped Rep. Fale in response needs during heavy rains that caused flooding on Windward Oahu.

State representative Richard Fale says he reacted on instincts and helped get most of the stranded motorists to safety including a woman who had climbed onto the hood of her car.
