RELATING TO TRANSIENT ACCOMMODATIONS TAX.
Report Title: Transient Accommodations Tax
Description: Repeals the additional Transient Accommodations Tax imposed by Act 61, SLH 2009. Repeals the daily tax on transient accommodations furnished on a complimentary or gratuitous basis imposed by Act 103, SLH 2011. Makes permanent the caps on Transient Accommodation Tax revenue distributions to the Tourism Special Fund and the counties. Effective July 1, 2050. (SB1194 HD1)

RELATING TO AGRICULTURE.
Report Title: Agriculture; Future Farmers of America Program; 4-H Program; Taro Lands ($)
Description: Appropriates funds to the Department of Education and the University of Hawaii to operate and implement the Future Farmers of America and 4-H Programs. Amends public land classifications to add taro lands for wetland cultivation as a fourth class of agricultural lands. Defines taro lands. Includes retention of supporting structures for taro fields in the list of permitted uses for certain agricultural lands. Adds growth and perpetuation of all traditional Hawaiian crops to agricultural planning objectives. Effective July 1, 2030. (SB757 HD2)
